Our Start

Vetmedley begin in my head years ago when I opened my own small animal hospital in 2013. I was starting from nothing. I had no forms, no documents, no templates. I thought there was a magic start-your-own-veterinary-hospital-in-a-box-packet. Newsflash: there is not and there wasn’t.

I dove deep into google and figured I could take the best of forms and combine them and it would be easy. I found that formatting and my perfectionism caused me to be inefficient and slow. It took — forever. plus a lifetime.

I found myself thinking,

“If someone sold this form, I would happily buy it from them.”

I also found myself saying,

“Is this really the best the veterinary world has to offer?”

Outdated templates. Overcrowded forms. Horrendously wordy consent forms that clients don’t read.

I set out on a mission. I wanted my hospital to be sleek, modern, efficient and I realized I needed to create a lot of these forms myself. I didn’t want to “reinvent the wheel",” but what I was looking for just didn’t exist!

After countless hours (just kidding, I mean years) of editing and creating forms, documents, templates, protocols and procedures I thought “Why not help other hospitals?”

It’s a dog eat dog industry - literally. The last thing we all need to spend our time doing is editing templates and forms to make them look nicer. I would have gladly purchased them if they existed when I started.
